We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to the train station, a supermarket, mall, and restaurants within walking distance. The top floor restaurant was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a wide variety of delicious food options. We were especially impressed with the small buffet area for kids, which allowed them to easily choose their own meals.

Room was excellent, one staff member (young woman who worked in the cloak room) was extremely helpful and friendly, location is great for exploring downtown Asahikawa.
I chose this hotel for the spa and was flatly denied entry because of a small memorial tattoo on my wrist (which I got after my dear grandfather passed away). In four years in Japan, I have yet to be denied entry to a spa that is connected to a hotel (as a paying hotel guest). I understand that Japan has a negative perception of tattoos, but I am NOT Japanese and therefore cannot possibly be associated with the yakuza/criminal groups that cause the tattoo fear in the first place. It was not made clear that this hotel discriminates against foreigners with tattoos, or I would have never given them my business. Please understand that this policy must change if you wish to accommodate foreign tourists -- my tattooed western friends and business associates in Tokyo (~90% of the people I know) have been warned to stay away from this hotel. Furthermore, several front desk receptionists were quite rude and unhelpful. I speak a moderate level of Japanese and inquired about buses to Kamui Ski Links (some out-of-date websites claim that the hotel offers a shuttle to and from Kamui). I was told that I had to take a taxi. I asked the kind young woman at the cloak room, who informed me that there IS a shuttle, but by the time I had clarified the situation with her, I had missed it and was forced to pay for a taxi. The cloak room girl was the saving grace of the Loisir staff. I imagine that most winter tourists come to Asahikawa for the snowsports. Access to the local mountains must be improved if you hope to cultivate a proper tourism industry...

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, right in front of a convenience store and close to a mall with a supermarket. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great views of the city. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet offers a decent spread of food.
The parking system can be troublesome and time-consuming.

The hotel was affordable and conveniently located near the Winter Festival. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed. the fact that the hotel had a convenience store nearby was helpful.
Another issue was the noisy group tour from China that made it difficult to enjoy breakfast peacefully. the hotel could benefit from improving their customer service and creating a more relaxing atmosphere for guests.

This hotel has fantastic facilities, including a restaurant and spa, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to JR Asahikawa station and a street full of restaurants made it easy for me to get around and find tasty meals during my stay.
Cannot find any fault.

We had a great stay at a hotel nearby the train station. The room was quiet and clean with free WIFI. We enjoyed the quick check-in and check-out process. The hotel was located near a shopping street and taxi rides were affordable.
The air conditioner in our room did not work and the door was difficult to open with the key. The staff offered us a fan instead of fixing the air conditioning unit.
